This is from my Week in the Life Parade. I think I may have made this project more difficult than it needed to be, LOL. I have now finished three days. And when was it that I started??? Oh yes, it was a month ago.
Well, there are other projects too you know. I thought I'd share this day's Layouts as well as the pages from this day so you can see what I'm doing. This is pretty representative of how I've ordered the whole thing for each day.
I selected Studio Calico lines to use as the foundation in terms of supplies, but I am adding other things that coordinate well also. I didn't pick a line in particular but am just mixing and matching from all of it. It all coordinates beautifully, even kit specific items.
I've been incorporating my Washi collection of course, on the 'daily schedule' page which I have to admit is really fun to make. It's pretty simple as well. All I'm doing really is adding strips of washi along my printed pages, sometimes a sticker or die cut shape, three hole punch and I am done.
Other items of note are my We R Memory Keepers leather album, Sassafrass Lass stickers, Prima and MM alphas, Authentique Word stickers, Pebbles Candy dot buttons and Feathers from Feather Expressions.
On the back side, I incorporate a pocket to hold bits and pieces from that day if there are a few. In this case I just had one so I made it sort of an art journal style page. I added some feathers today since we had a lot of bird watching action.
Next is my first layout. I have been doing a lot of large picture layouts for this project. They seem to go well with the theme of photographing your daily life
It took me three days to remember that I needed to think about the orientation of the photos and the journaling card, otherwise it is hard to read. I loved how this pic came out so the embs are quite simple.
Next I went to the pocket pages for the smaller photos and journaling cards.
And now another of the large photos I took. See, I really did get carried away with the large photos.
And my final page.
If I could change one thing, it would be for there to never be glare in photos taken of pictures inside page protectors. Oh well, can't be helped.
As always, if you aren't already, I'd love for you to follow me!
this looks great!
