At present, it's run by a couple named Richard and Jude. Richard is the technical guy who makes sure all the light station stuff is running properly. He demonstrated the fog horn to us, gave us all a history lesson on this particular light stations place in history and generally answered questions. Jude is a wonder in the kitchen. She prepared a gorgeous spread of hors d'oveurs and then a delicious dinner. In the morning we enjoyed a lovingly prepared breakfast.
One of my favorite aspects of our stay was that you get to explore the entire island and house. Nothing is off-limits save the edge of the rocks where you'll slip off into the icy waters.
This view is from the road you drive in.

Stairway up to the light.
Taken from the light, looking down at the roof, lots of the birds.
We made friends with the other guests! Her name was Ursula too! How cool is that!?
If you're looking for a unique place to visit, I highly recommend you check this place out. Super relaxing and you feel like you've gone back in time!
