Kit Fun, and other goodies to admire.

Well, you all seemed to really enjoy last months Kit expose so I thought I'd do it again, or at least a wee bit of it.

This months Studio Calico kit was called 'City of Lights'. Umm, how could I resist given that is my dream vacation!  However, I did make a purchasing change this month.  I cut back on how much I purchased.  I left the extra add-on Paper behind and only purchased the More Patterned Paper add-on which contained the SC exclusive PP's.  I also skipped the extra SC PP.  Aren't you proud of me.  It's taken me a long time, but some degree of sanity may be coming upon me.

Here is the whole collection of SC goodness laid out on my table.  Yes, I do this every month.  Somehow, I just enjoy looking at it all together like this.

(Please note that there is another pack of 'Gold Thickers' including in this collection of SC goodness, and all because the SC peeps 'heard' me saying I needed to get another set on the boards and they sweetly included them just as a gift.  This is just one of the many reasons why subbing at SC is something you need to do!)

And from another angle, because any photographer knows that you must take photos from all possible angles to get the very best one.

Alphas, up close and personal.  Nine different ones. Read em and weep!  You'd think that with this many alphas I'd have no need to hoard wouldn't you. Well.....I am learning!

Here is the stack of paper and alphas which will go in first.  Papers, then alpha, that is.  And the stamps which are pictured, but won't live in the kit bag.

All together now.

And finally, the stamps....stamped.

That was this months kit.  Now that I've described it, I am going to go play with it!  Woot!

As an added bonus, I thought I'd share a recent Two Pea's purchase as well.  There were a few things I needed.  A few of them were duplicates from the SC kit that I'd knew I'd need more of.  Others were just pretty, (and I had to fill my cart to get free shipping ;)

I made a layout using this collection of fun along with a few things from a recent Blue Moon Haul.  Can't wait to show it to you, but it's one for the ES gallery this month.  Soon though!

I also wanted to quickly answer a question that I'm sure someone asked along the way.  How many kits do I subscribe to?  Right now, I am down to one kit club per month.  As much as I love Jenni Bowlin Kits, Scrapbook Circle Kits and Noel Mignon kits, I just couldn't justify so many and decided to cut back to only one.  With the number of exclusives at Studio Calico, it simply had to be SC.  Hope that settles the curiosity.

Enjoy your day.  Be blessed. Plant kindness and harvest love.

  19. Lovely to see everything all laid out! I've started stamping a sample with my new stamp sets, too, it helps me see how to use them. Still puzzling about how to use those wooden frames...even the SC team didn't show many examples with them.
