Congrats Jennifer! Let's be in contact so I can get you your goodies. And thanks to all of you who read all of my many words! It warms my heart to know that you do!
Today I'm going to share with you a layout I did from a sketch over at Elle's Studio. The layout was based on a layout by Kimberly Neddo, which was, of course, awesome!
Here is Kimberly's Layout
I actually didn't stray to far from the design except that I flipped the title placement to accomodate my photo and added a journaling block to the side of the photo and descreased the width of tag placement.
Here is my take on the sketch using a super favorite photo of my daughter from when she was only 14. Seems like ages ago but I still remember that moment like it was yesterday.
I love it when these moments stay with you like this one did. She looked so very grown up that day. She'd just gotten a new hair cut that had 'woman' written all over it. And then there was just a touch of rebellion coming out at my audacity for asking her to snap a photo so early in the morning.
I pulled out a mini doily crocheted by my hubby's grandma and a collection of other goodies from my stash and my Elle's Studio tags and went to town. Love how my Silhouette can cut out any title I choose!
Check that vintage fabric I ran across. The colors were perfect for my project. I did an impromtu gather as I sewed it across the page. I added some word stickers to the tag to add to meaning of where she was at during that time of her life.
Hope you enjoy! Have a fabulous day!
