Scrapbook Circle Layouts to Share!

I know you've been waiting, some patiently and some.....well.  Hee hee!  It's finally time to share what I did over at Scrapbook Circle with their February Kit. At least the first two projects!  There are a couple more to come.  And check out their blog today as they'll have some fun facts about 'yours truly' to share.

I had sooo much fun working with this kit.  It's like they made it just for me with all those turquoise, yellow and grey shades.  Yum!

So here is the first one.  I may like this one for the simple fact that I think it's hard to tell who is mother and who is daughter.  Who wouldn't like that!?  My hubs tells me I'm dreaming, but I refuse to accept such rubbish.

I really liked how the butterfly with the twine for it's body came out. I've been a little stubborn on the banner bit, but I caved for this layout.  All that October Afternoon Flour Sack goodness is too much fun.

And isn't that extra bling fun.  I did cut this out on my Silhouette, but I have to say I wouldn't recommend it.  It's super thick and I had to cut it four times and we won't discuss all the glitter that is still in my blade. But you gotta love the bling that glitter paper brings.  Oh, and I had such fun with my new Bombay inks on this page.  More rainbow happiness!

And this is my favorite of the two projects.  My kids had some craziness with Bananas and I actually was able to capture it. Real smiles and all!

Here is the story:

And a few details. Love the idea of punching paper and then laying it on the same paper, gives it texture.  And I continue getting great use out of my JBS Tab Punch, which you definitely NEED!

And the bird on a wire Martha Stewart punch, I am in love with it.  It's not the sort of thing you'd use every day, but when you get to, makes me happy.

Is everyone as love with those amazing little zig-zag bags from Whisker Graphics?  I think I want a ton of them, but that may be overkill.

Make sure to pick up your kit before they are all gone!

I was wondering how you created the title on the first layout with that gold paper, but I am assuming that was your silhouette, too?
