Ok, I am getting really excited to show you my projects for Scrapbook Circle. It's killing me not to share all, but I'm being patient. They'll be going up soon on their blog so keep a look-out. In the meantime, here is another wee sneak to tide you over.
Now, on to other things. I've take the 'Stretch Your Kit' class by the talented and always loved Amy Tangerine over at Studio Calico and I managed to steal some time to make a layout just for me from that class.
My goal for this one was to pull some of my very favorite supplies from the kit and actually use them rather than 'saving' them for some nebulous 'special occasion' project.
Here is the whole shebang! I wanted to try the baby block photo idea out so my dear friend Chelsea was my guinea pig. I like the result but need to do some tweaks to perfect it I think.
I'm totally in love with that Kesi'art rainbow paper and while I didn't manage to use the part of it that I love the best, I did use it and that is going to have to do for the moment. (That is next on my list, actually use the most most favorite bits!) Hee!
You might have noticed that I kind of have a thing for rainbows (or maybe you didn't, I'll forgive you if that is the case). So I got happy with my new chalk inks and inked up the awesome stamp from the Photo Booth kit (sorry, it's sold out) and made my very own rainbow. Oh, and did you see my little Epiphany Crafts star shape right there. First time using it. LOVE!
One of my new favorite things to do is leave long tails on my threads and then tie them together into a bow. I may end up overdoing this technique! Eek!
Thanks for stopping by! See ya tomorrow with some more sneaks perhaps.
