Hello Wednesday -- Is it Time for Normalcy to Return?

January 2 seems like a good time for life to return to a slightly less frenetic pace!  Don't you agree?

The company has left. (well, my daughter is flying out mid-day, but she's my daughter so that's not exactly the same as company ;)

There is a remodeling project underway but a big part of it is complete. (new Heating and Cooling is happening TODAY!  I finally get air-conditioning!)

That little project has disrupted life in the Schneider household a bit more than I had imagined.  But I have hope for a fairly quick finish (new info....slow finish), all things considered.  I'll share pictures soon.

And lots of us are resuming our paper projects.  So today seems the perfect time to share one of the projects from my Scrapbook Circle Gallery for January!

In honor of the new kits being available, here is my first layout!

You might be inclined to look at a bold paper such as this one and feel it's a bit much for a background.  Here's a tip, if you build a 'block' like I did to cover up some portion of the center, it will behave more like strips of paper on your page.

I also got rather aggressive with my Heidi Swapp spray mists and covered the stencils with gold and pink sparkly goodness!  I highly recommend it.
