I thought I'd honor you with a bit about the how's on that particular layout. Here is Celine's Sketch.
And my layout:
When I am thinking of Celine, I seem to get artsy. She just brings it out in me. For this layout, I had a perfect excuse. I'd just purchased some fun Tim Holtz Tissue Wrap from Blue Moon and I needed to do something with it. It was just that cool.
My plan was to color my base paper a bit, which I did with some mist and water and then to Mod-Podge the tissue on top of the cardstock base.. After that, I added some more color on top of that along with a bit of white paint.
Next, I embossed a background stamp using AC Zing in Blush.
Then, it was time to start layering.
The sketch had some basic layers and I added a few more. I chose to use smaller photos and layering pieces because I wanted my nifty background to be seen. (my background was vain)
You'll notice that I cut out a bit of the vellum layer so that the butterfly could show through in all her glory.
Stitching is a great way to hold down vellum which doesn't seem to accept glue readily.
That's most of the info. I'd love to see what you do with Celine's sketch. Make sure you let us know what you end up making with the sketch by linking us up on the original post over at the Green Frog Studio.
