Shopping

I have a confession to make.  I haven't had the chance to create a thing in toooo long.  And I'm a little concerned I may be a little quiet for a couple of weeks as I concentrate on getting my shop up and running.  I thought I might better give you all a heads up so you don't think I've deserted you.  I know I'm usually pretty consistent but I've been MIA a bit lately.

Do please forgive me and don't give up on me, lots of excitement is in 'store'.

In the meantime, I thought I'd share about a shopping trip I had the other day.  Sometimes its fun to see what folks are putting into their baskets.

I no longer have a local scrapbooking store here in Tucson.  However, I do have the Blue Moon Scrapbooking warehouse which graciously allows me to pop in and rummage through their boxes.  (Lots of fun, I highly recommend it if you can do it some time!)

There were a few pieces from the Studio Calico Daydream Believer kit and the Scrapbook Circle kits for February that I needed more of.  Luckily, Blue Moon was able to oblige me with some of the Dear Lizzy and the Crate and MME lines.

And I was soooo happy to find the Chap papers that I'd used every square inch of! Needed more of those.  Don't you love the MME Chipboard for the new collections?  Super frou frou and I'm looking forward to using them.  I really can't wait to use the wood-grain flag stamps from MME.  Hoping to find a spot for them on tomorrow's project.

And you can never have enough Crate border stickers as far a I can tell.

My final exciting discovery was the masks from Crafter's Workshop.  I'm so loving the two different sizes.  I shall be challenged to use them creatively! I expect the gesso and mists will come in handy with these guys.

That's the extent of the damage.  I think it's a good thing I no longer have an LSS, it was causing trouble before. LOL

Have a great weekend!  And don't forget to check out Elle's Studio!

  13. Lots of fun stuff to use. I normally wouldn't buy anything like the Dear Lizzy line but I'm loving it. There is enough blue and brown in it for me.
