I am still trying to decide if this page is completely done. Maybe you can help me to decide??
It feels just a little abstract to me. I love the photo. It is of my daughter and her husband about a week after they'd decided that they cared for one another (well, after they'd declared this fact to one another). They were testing the waters, not wanting to say they were together but seriously thinking each other was 'THE ONE'.
It was a fun day where we went downtown to take Kaitlin's Senior portraits. The two of them were cute....and awkward and so very uncertain.
I think the title might be my favorite part of this, after the photo of course. Surprise, more gold thickers!
It is hard to see in the photos but the white paper that the title sits on is slight transparent so I stamped and inked under it. You can see a little of it in this photo.
Played with the Epiphany Buttons.
And hearts too! And I finally figured a way to work in that sparkly ribbon.
Hope you have a great Friday! Enjoy the weekend!
Gorgeous page Ursula. Love those thickers.
ReplyDeleteUrsula, your work is just gorgeous! you inspire me everyday! ok enough gushing, seriously, I love your title work!
ReplyDeleteGreat LO Ursula - I really like the left over space at the bottom of the paper so for me it seems done :) What a beautiful daughter you have...

I love your layout - it is very linear for you!! I think that is why you are struggling with knowing if it is done - it's all basically straight lines and no stacking/layering of papers. I think it looks just fine....but, I struggle with linear pages. I always want to add more, more, more! LOL
ReplyDeleteReally love your heartfelt journaling and that great title with the *gasp* gold Thickers. teehee
I think this layout is wonderful! And what a sweet story!
ReplyDeleteGreat LO Urula. Love the tag w/ the gold thickers
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet! Gorgeous LO!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great! I love the title and the photo. You can feel the (adorable) awkwardness in the picture. Really love how you captured that!
ReplyDeleteLove the title--you are rocking those scary thickers!
ReplyDeleteThose gold thickers are growing on me. Wishing I had purchased that add on.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great too and such a great story to document :)
ReplyDeleteursula, it is such an awesome layout and i love the epiphany hearts. must get some of those! if and i say if you wanted to, you could add maybe just a small stamped image ( like the date with the dear lizzy stamp ) to that bottom right corner to ground it. and i hesitate to say this because it looks incredible as it is and doing that may not look right. just something to think about only because you asked.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, both the layout and the story! You are amazing!! :)
ReplyDeletei love the photo...and such a neat story to tell. :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the different elements on the page, and what a sweet story :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful page and wonderful photo. I wouldn't change a thing!
ReplyDeleteI think you can add something small at the lower right corner. My eyes kept getting drawn to the white space over there expecting to see something
ReplyDeleteI love the way you added the glitter ribbon! I've been struggling with it. I love the cut edges on it.
