Before I share all of those I thought I'd share a little sneaky peek at a layout I did for the BRAND NEW Elle's Studio Kit A Love Story. I must tell you that you DO NOT want to miss this kit. The stamp is exclusive and it is amazing! Love love love that little thing. And the colors and patterns are sooo much fun. You can go subtle or bright with the kit depending on what you want to do. It's super versatile. And don't miss the extra goodies in the shop! The picture of the kit doesn't even begin to do it justice. You NEED this kit!
Here goes with the weeks pics!
Sunday, Jan 15
Hunter was really excited to learn some worship songs. Since he's found Christ, his whole outlook on music has changed drastically. Jeremy was giving him some guidance and feeling inspired himself to learn guitar.
Monday, Jan 16
Maddie place fetch with Bean. She's great at teaching him tricks and obedience.
Tuesday, January 17
I got to have lunch with dear Chelsea today. First time I've been away from home while the kids were home since last summer. Soooo blessed. And I gave Chelsea her Christmas gift.
Wednesday, Jan 18
Hunter goes for the bleached look. Personally, I dig it, but those darned roots are bound to be a problem for him.
Thursday, Jan 19
Jeremy and I had date night (its a new night for it since we aren't on Worship team every week now) We went while the kids were at Youth Group. We went to Buffalo Wild wings and had a very silly time together.
Friday, Jan 20
Yesterday, I picked up these Bombay Inks in order to play with them on my Scrap Pages. I have to admit to being a color junkie. sometimes I just like looking at all the pretty bottles lined up.
Saturday, Jan 21
Jeremy helped Madison with Math Matrices all day as she had chosen to not learn them during the week and so was very behind and very confused. (He did it Sunday too!) Does she know how lucky she is to have such a patient father?
Doing this project really brings home how fast the time flies by. I can hardly believe we are only a week from the end of January 2012. That idea makes me think things like, what if today were my last day on earth? How would I have left things? It really does cause you to think deeply when you do something like this.
And finally, I'll share a layout in case some of you didn't visit JBS yesterday. Here's one that is a blast from the past. I really had fun using the JBS Scalloped Banner punch on the border for this one.
beautiful photos and that punch looks great.

Love those Bombay inks! I am a color junkie myself :) If you ever find them try out Pearlescent Liquid Acrylics from Daler Rowney. They are THE BOMB. They are shimmery when dry and they come in a dropper bottle and last forever. I buy mine at Asel Art if there is one in your area. My current project on my blog uses them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being so quick in answering my question! Bean has that unmistakable Boxer look, I have 2 myself. I'm so glad he has a family like yours. :)
