It also inspired me to start shopping, hence, the new SC kits. Below is the first layout I made with those kits and the first paper layout I'd made in about 5 years.
I'd been collecting paper and embellishments throughout that time, but I'd neglected to use much of it. I'd been bitten by the digital scrapbook bug and had created almost exclusively via digital products. But now, my inner paper maven had been released. This was the second start to my paper scrapping career!
I thought all of you might enjoy seeing what got me going. And my first layout. Here tis!
I was so happy with my start and I couldn't wait to continue. I haven't counted but I'm pretty sure I've made at least 100 pages since this one!
Maybe I'll get brave and show you my actual first one day. That would have been almost 10 years ago with a very definite Creative Memories feel!

ReplyDeleteWow!! A nice one! I regret so much to get to know about SC only the starting of this year and I missed a lot of the kits and exclusive stamps... Sigh... The ferris wheel is beautiful :) so does your LO!!!

ReplyDeleteThat was so interesting to read! Great post, Ursula. I know I have urge to go through my craft room and get rid of all my "old" LO's, but I think they are important and helped make us the scrappers we are now, so I resist :)
