Good morning friends,
Today is the day we remember that Jesus, who was actually God but became a man in physical form and mentality, willingly died on a cruel cross, was beaten and mocked, just so that you and I could have a relationship with Jesus. I think that is an amazing fact. Did you know that over and over again unbelieving archaeologist, journalist, etc have tried to prove that Jesus never existed and that the things recorded about him in the bible are not accurate representations of history? Did you know that most of the time they come away believing themselves because they find that there is tons of evidence to support all that the bible teaches?
Jesus loves you and me. We all need the grace he offers. We all suffer from loving ourselves too much. We've all lied, or cheated, or gossipped or stolen, or lusted, or dishonored our parents or misrepresented a situation or whatever. We are all sinners in need of the Grace that Jesus Christ offers. I hope you'll take a moment to ask Jesus to reveal himself to you. Perhaps you'll pick up a bible, perhaps pray or speak to a friend who knows Christ and ask them to introduce you to Him. If you ever feel empty and hopeless and those niggling doubts about why you're hear get the best of you, that is Jesus reminding you that He wants to fill up the dead space.
I love you too!
Here is a layout I made of my back yard last night. Just took the photos yesterday. I love how at this time of year the light comes through just this way in the evening and sets the fresh green leaves on fire in golden hues. Love the magic of that.
May God introduce Himself to you today in a way that helps you see who he really is rather than what people say about Him.
Beautiful layout. Happy Easter to you!
