So I'm back over here because......well, I might just hate Wordpress with all my heart. Um, what I mean is, that the new blog I have spent a zillion hours on is not working. However, not to worry, blogger is still here for me so while I get things fixed up, I'll just post over here. Perhaps those of you I haven't seen since I moved will find your way over to Scarlet Bird Designs now that I'm posting here today.
You can find my Etsy shop here. You can find my new Facebook page here. (I'd appreciate a like so very much!) Feel free to pass it along!
Did you know that Lily Bee Designs has been working with
Epiphany Crafts and Glue Arts this week to do a blog hop?
Well they have and I got to participate. I created a sketch which ‘aired’ Wednesday
and a layout to go with it. Here they are, I wanted to share them with you so
can get a peek! Maisa Mendonca also joined the fun so make sure and check out the LB blog to see all the great stuff and giveaways!
I cut the title with my Silhouette using the font called 'Airstream'
Popping the chevrons up with Glue Arts foam pieces gave a bit more dimension.
Remember I told you that I’d had a date with the hubs! We
went to ‘The Abbey’ for dinner which was kind of a unique place. It’s a high
end comfort kind of place. I am not a
high end kind of girl. Well, I’d like
to be, but high part is where the problem comes in. However, a groupon came my way and so we took a leap!
What a delight. It
was a pretty casual setting, with beautiful food. We started with Baked Brie Wellington, the moved to entrées
including Butcher’s Steak and Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin. I’d say the Butcher’s Steak was the winner as
the Tenderloin was a bit dry. (the one I made the other night was better).
Finally, we finished with Sweet and Salty Chocolate
Cake. TDF!
And we had a great time just being together and celebrating
our marriage. I kinda like that guy! Will share photos soon!
Have a great Friday! And if you haven't subscribed over at my new blog, Scarlet Bird Designs, please do, that is where I intend to blog (once I get it all fixed up)
